The firm has aggressively expanded its tort defense, product liability and nursing home practices into Indiana. Eric Papier has joined the firm as an associate. Eric is licensed in Indiana and Illinois and is handling several tort defense lawsuits in Indiana as well as Illinois. Eric is also involved in our insurance coverage practice. Robert DeLora is also licensed in Indiana and litigates in both Illinois and Indiana.

The firm's nursing home defense practice continues to thrive throughout Illinois. We are also litigating several declaratory judgment actions, commercial matters and trucking defense lawsuits throughout the state. We are currently involved in an appeal of a product liability lawsuit in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, our third appeal in the 7th Circuit in the past year.

Paul Kaulas obtained a directed verdict in a product liability lawsuit which went to trial in Nevada in April 2009. The firm is coordinating or defending tort defense, product liability and insurance coverage related litigation in over 20 states.

Our national insurance coverage practice continues to expand. Mark Parsky and Ben Galloway are defending a declaratory judgment action in Broward County, Florida pertaining to insurance coverage in class actions filed in several states. We recently litigated employment and crime policy coverage issues in Colorado.
